The Standard First Aid with CPR and AED Certification Course is a comprehensive training programme that covers critical aspects of first aid. It is designed to equip learners with in-depth knowledge and skills in rendering appropriate first aid treatment. Learners will experience elements of individual and collaborative learning. At the end of the programme, participants will undergo a summative group scenario activity before graduation.

The Standard First Aid with CPR and AED Certification Course is conducted by Raffles Medical Group and accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).

Description

This course is suitable for individuals interested in first aid, or is required to render first aid in their community.

Course Dates

March 16th - 17th April 4th - 5th
June 10th - 11th September 5th - 6th

Course Outcome

At the end of the programme, learners will be able to render immediate and effective treatment during a medical emergency by:

  1. Understanding the role, responsibilities and importance of a First Aider.
  2. Assisting victims with potential respiratory difficulties.
  3. Rendering effective treatment for circulatory injures and problems.
  4. Managing bone, joint and muscle injuries appropriately.
  5. Recognising and treatment of victims with suspected nervous system injuries.
  6. Managing victims’ skin-related problems such as burns and heat injuries.
  7. Assisting victims with injuries related to poisoning, bites and stings.
  8. Handing and transporting an injured victim.
  9. Performing CPR and / or AED on an unconscious adult.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, graduates will be awarded a certificate, accredited by the SRFAC, with a validity of two years.

  • Price is in Singapore dollars and inclusive of GST.
  • All payments are on a strictly non-refundable basis and must be made before course commencement, failing which Raffles Medical Group reserves the right to cancel or postpone the participant’s registration for the specific course date.
  • Upon purchase, we will send to your email a redemption letter, that you can use to redeem your course. This letter can only be used for the course indicated.
  • To book your course, please email Mr Muhd Fardli at fardli@rafflesmedical.com or call 6311 1604. Please quote the course name and the reference number found on your redemption letter.
  • The redemption letter must be presented on the day of the course, together with your NRIC / identification documents. 
  • You may transfer the course to another person, or purchase for multiple people. Please email fardli@rafflesmedical.com with the details of the recipient(s).
  • A minimum of 80% attendance record is required for learners to sit for the assessment. Absentees may request make-up lessons only upon producing a medical certificate. Participants who did not complete their assessment successfully will have to re-take the assessment (MCQ / Practical) on another day within one month. Additional assessment attempts will be subjected to an administrative fee of $10.
  • Listed terms are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Raffles Medical Group is not obliged to replace the redemption letter if it is misplaced.
